If it will not start with assistance from a jump start is it turning over slow

Ok so checked the starter motor cables etc, then tried a jump again and it started.

14.6 when running is good as you can test the battery do the test when disconnected to prove its not a leakage problem |

Yeah the battery does not seem to be running down when it's disconnected.... |

No benefit if the engine is running to find a system battery drain |

I think p_gill is just asking the OP to do a simple load test on the current battery. If the voltage drops below 10 when cranking then the battery is kaput, dead but lazy to fall........ |
