Im not sure what market the Grenadier is aiming at - the utilitarian/3rd world market is pretty owned by the far eastern manufacturers with tech-reduced models but still offering the backup of large international companies supplying parts all over the world. Is the Granadier taking them on ?

Man, that BBC article is a real downer. I had high hopes too.
I'd like to hear the real reasons too. I've heard quiet a few pandemic excuses over the last couple of months. 2013 SE TD4 in Mauritius Blue [Written off]

Disappointing if it isn't assembled in the UK. Reality is though if there is a factory sitting and waiting to get production running much sooner then you can see why they might want to change plan.
