now I like that !

very well made by the looks of it. Well done. I have seen something similar on here with a tool box.

what I like about yours is the way, should you need to, the drawer box can slide back into the car to get at the (infrequently used) spare wheel compartment. By pulling up the rear passengers seat swabs and lowering the seat backs, the floor becomes flat and the drawer box can slide backwards, further into the car.

Ingenious !! 10 out of 10

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

Oil and filter change plus two new Pirellis fitted at my Indie, then my first excursion on new client work since before lockdown - a 140 mile round trip and lighter than expected traffic as a bonus - very enjoyable.

Met a nice couple on a farm and walked about four miles while suitably distanced, discussing their issues around their newly-inherited farm... sad for them in some ways, nice in other - and even though it was a working day, it such a change it was like a holiday.

They're also enthusiastic Freelander owners - theirs is a facelift version of my 2009 FL2, and I did mention this forum to them... they've a lot on their minds right now, but hopefully we'll see them join up soon... Lexus RX450H - 500 mile a week commuter- I just couldn’t trust in a newer RRS or DS for that….
2009 Freelander 2 HSE... 155K miles, we’ve done 135k of those, has done brilliantly on the commute and staying firmly put as car two in the household
2002 Jaguar XK8 Coupe... fun, fast, ours for 12 years and owes us nothing - so staying with us too…

Cleaned MAF and installed LR paper filter. Oil and filter changed and stripped my transmission level plug before I could do a drain and refill................I am not happy! Evil or Very Mad

My buddy who owns a lift torqued it closed the last time around and I think he was green at the time.........AKA Hulk. Will be phoning LR parts tomorrow to source the damn plugs.

^^^For reference purposes, what fluid did you use? And, what FL2 do you have?

Oil.oil filter. air filter change.
And my first fuel filter change. Very happy it kept running and I didn't have to learn how to bleed the system.
Next week - rear brakes. Discs and pads. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

Replaced the passenger side door lock motors. All working fine again. Easy fix at a fraction of the price of replacing the complete lock assembly. Imported the motors from China. Same quality as the ones replaced.Have enough new spare motors to do all the doors.

I unlocked and locked the car from the kitchen as we aren’t using presently and don’t want to get “locked out” every month or so and have to use the passenger manual entry.......I was exhausted after pressing the buttons twice in a row Rolling with laughter Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Installed wind deflectors, altough I’m doubting about the ones at the rear doors. Not sure yet if I like them there.
Also had the rear windows blackened and installed black indicator lights in the front wings.
Finally I’ve installed roofrails.
I have the car for a week now and I’m totally in love. Smile

Given the reasons behind the Black Lives Matter cause, I find your comment about your grills inappropriate.
