I know this has been asked before and no replies, but with lockdown-ish I'm assuming more of us are cruising the net so trying again.

Has anyone fitted one of these to S:FL" ir anything else?

Keen to know if any of the efficiency, performance and sound claims are correct.

I remember going on an off-road trip with Lee James 4x4 (anyone remember Lee?) and there was a unit fitted to a Jeep thingame. Great sound

Nope. Im on still on the original exhaust at nearly 6 years - no sign of it needing replacing. Jules

You'll have a long wait then Jules, mine still original at 12 years.
that exhaust will probably cost more then my motors worth now.

didn't some one say Freelander exhausts are stainless steel?mines 11 years old.

The tail pipe is stainless , the whole exhaust , I believe is coated steel( might be aluminium ) . My FL2 is now 11 years old and the exhaust at 65,000 miles ( touch wood ) is fine, with only one of the protection shields being replaced in 91/2 years of ownership . As comments above there doesn’t seem to be much point in putting £2000 performance exhaust on a diesel suv . The only way of truly relieving back pressure is an 'old fashioned straight through exhaust'.
Although in these modern times you may have to move to the middle of a desert so that you do not upset the neighbours.

I believe you have an SD4 like me, and I have found that the SD4 has enough power already for most normal uses.

A sub 9sec 0-60mph used to be very quick and even now it is respectable for a family car. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
