Hey all.
I've noticed a decent amount of oil on the outside of my engine, around the EGR. See attatched pic
I have limited mechanical knowledge, my question is, where do I go from here?

Car otherwise runs fine aside from the forgivable "special programs not available" on the cold mornings and once in a blue moon wayward fuel guage readings.

Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers from Norway

2007 Freelander 2, 142000 miles

On that pipe connection there is no gasket as the gasses flow can be quite hot.
The seal is obtained by the tightness of the connection between the two components - the pipe and the throttle body.
Try to tighten a little the two nuts at the pipe connection as during time, because of the vibrations, they may become loose and then spray a little brake cleaner on the zone in order to clean the oily deposits.
Check after a while.
