Oil Level Sensor on SD4 SE?

I carried out services for both Freelanders in the past week and noticed on the MY 2013 SD4 SE the oil level sensor unplugged and no wire in sight. I did a search on the forum and the internet and did not find an answer.
There was/is no warning light on in the car relating to an engine oil problem.
An oil leak on the sump gasket was performed by die dealers while the car was still under warranty.
I had the skid pan under the engine off a few times myself before the Dealer repaired the oil leak but cannot recall seeing this unplugged oil level sensor.
I also noticed two different sump drain plugs on the SE and the HSE requiring a no 13 and a no 21 socket respectively. The shapes of the two sumps are different so as also the position of the drain plugs.
Both cars are MY 2013 SD4's.
So I am interested to know whether a different sump than the original one was fitted by the Dealers. And if so what about the level indication on the oil dip stick if the the sump shapes are different? Same oil levels but different quantities of oil in the two cars? Maybe no big deal?
Hope someone can help with an answer?
Cheers.

Well that’s really interesting!
Oil pressure warning is part of the “Command Centre” warnings as is “Oil Level”.
It’s part of the EUCD block in the CCF.
I suggest you have a good look for a plug which will be taped up to the main harness which is std practice for JLR.
I can’t make out the WERS number of the pan, it looks like CX23-?????-?? so other possibility is it may be a Jag XF pan! MY15

Jules, I very much think it is the original engine. I have owned the car since it has 49k kilometres on the clock and have not had an engine change in my time of ownership. How can I check that? Topix maybe? 2013 SD4 SE (hers)

Thanks Stuart, I will take a good picture of the WERS numbers on the oil pan itself. Having had the skid pan off many times before the Dealer repaired the sump oil leak I seriously would have noticed that oil level sensor and the fact that it is unplugged. Having been in the automotive industry myself for years, that is the type of things that will catch one's eyes immediately.
For interest sake I once took the skid pan off after a Dealer service and caught them out not having replaced the oil filter with a couple of high resolution photographs of the filter housing not being touched at all. Couple of red faces believe me! 2013 SD4 SE (hers)

Riddle solved. Thanks Stuart.
It seems as if the original Oil Pan has been replaced with a Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel oil pan when the sump oil leak was repaired by the Dealer. Probably generically the same diesel engines but I am just interested in the oil dipstick levels when pouring in equal amount of engine oil in the same engines but with different oil pans.
I will take it up with the Dealer for their explanation.
