Yeah, the DA is slower and it is pretty awkward working off the pontoon as so many areas are below your feet which kills your back over a few days. The heavier rotary issue is probably equalled by the length of time you have to actually hold the DA to cut through the mess as the boat moves back and forth on its lines. You even have to time a pass so the the machine (or your hand) doesn’t get jammed against the pontoon as the boat comes back to you! I much prefer doing cars as they tend to stay where you park them and have about a third of the surface area, but this type of boat DIY saves a fortune. The only thing that I have found that accelerates prices like having work done on a boat is planning a party at a venue and putting the word “wedding” in front of it |

Well today I thought my wife's car deserved a little love, washed and dried, didn't need clayed. 2 stage machine polish using menzerma compounds then topped off with the collinite 845. Not bad for 7 year old and 110k miles.

Great job. I love correcting black paint, as you say the rewards are great getting them to look properly black rather than a grey, swirly mess.

Stick the end of a hose up over the plastic wheel arch liners. You will be surprised with the amount to crap that comes out if you have never done this. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Bulbs all in and working , as you said quite straightforward once you start, I thought is was a bit of a squeeze getting all the bits inside the headlight , but at least it's all packed tight so hopefully won't rattle about, now waiting for it to get dark to see what difference is
