Mine's on it's way. So I'll do a little review once it gets here. |

The guard arrived yesterday, but I was too busy putting up a fence to do what I wanted to do. ![]() As you can see from the pictures, it has rubber pads bonded to it to prevent vibration and these pads touch the diff.. It looks good and seems substantial enough. However, 2 small criticisms , the 4 front bolts (Allen head) would be better being domed headed. The rear bolts, also allen heads, are put in upside down, so you need to get an allen key in the rear subframe and also it's awkward to get the bolt through the oval hole in the subframe and straighten it up to go through the lower hole . Much easier to put them in from the bottom and put the nylock nut on top. Also, this way the rears match the fronts. I get it's easier to get a nut on and do it up as seen on the first pics, due to the silencer pipe on the n/s but it doesn't make sense . They won't match the fronts. I managed to get a small ratchet with a 17mm socket up between the gap behind the rear silencer and into the subframe without too much hassle. There'st enough room to get an allen key on the bolt if you already get it in the hole first. There's enough wiggle room before you put the bolt on. .

Looks quite well made. I might drop them an email but since I am in NA, the shipping could be steep! |

I imagine it would be , but they are making a whole range of guards, so it may be cheaper in the long run to buy the diff guard with a sump guard and save on postage that way. In the first pics in the first post, you can see a tank guard. I reckon this might be a Mantec clone, or at least a close match. |
