Pedal rubbers

Afternoon all,

I'm new to this forum and am after some advice for my 2009 Freelander 2 XS. I've searched the forum as best I can to see if this question may already have been answered but I cannot find the answer anywhere.

I need to replace the rubber grips on both my clutch and brake pedals. Having looked online, I can only find genuine LR parts which are about £15-18 for each grip. It appears that you can buy replica ones for the Freelander 1 for a fraction of the cost.

Is anybody aware of where I can get cheaper alternatives from?

Many thanks in advance.

Ed.

I have looked into this too but the cheapest I could find was £14. Lots of FL1 for 3 or 4 quid. Don’t like the stainless steel/rubber ones.

ggb,

Thanks for the reply. I thought maybe I was just looking in the wrong place. How some company have not latched onto this and started knocking them out for £5 a piece, I'll never know. There are still plenty of FL2s out there on the road.

Essentially paying £15 (×2) for a couple of pieces of rubber makes my blood boil.

Exactly Ed. Wonder if Ford or Volvo has a transferable part?
