You do realise it has provision for an Allen key in the top of the piston strut. |

Try splitting the nut by drilling down into it starting as close to the thread as you can then working outwards. if you cannot get the nut to split repeat the drilling on the opposite side of the nut as this will make the nut easier to slacken and it should allow you to hold the shaft with mole grips. Drilling down through the thread worked and heated the nut enough for it to turn |
