Walking around our local streets, I knew there was a lot of Land Rovers in our area but even I am surprised how many. Not sure we can take many more.

ONS figures still show a lot more total deaths than published at briefings.

I think this lack of reliable information will cause oldies, like me, to be told to isolate for quite a long while.

I am hoping that we will get permission to take a ride out at some point in the future, just for recreation, and not for a carefully choreographed trip to pick up medicine or other very necessary item.

I started my FL2 yesterday, after about 2 and a bit weeks, and it definitely struggled to fire up, although it only took one push of the button.
(Although I have to admit that some of my earlier cars started less well after standing overnight. I have just got used to the instant, trouble free, starting of modern cars.)

Info sources are:-
https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationand...ndandwales
https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/stat...ly-deaths/ FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)

(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Gill got a letter yesterday from the NHS saying that she was at high risk (no Censored Sherlock) and that she should sleep on her own, eat separately, use a different bathroom and stay in a separate room.

Remind me again when did we supposedly start to isolate?

My suggestion of that she camps in the back garden, cooks on the BBQ and bathes in the hot tub wasn't as well received as you might expect Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

I take it your still working then?

Our letter from the hospital just said the family must self isolate (is that an oxymoron?) because of Mrs BB’s health. Regards

David

I'm one of the lucky ones, self employed but writing software, which is as easy (easier?) at home than it is in a noisy office.
Cuts out 2 1/2 hours travel each day and saves £300pm on fuel.

There will come a point where the hardware and software will come together, which needs physical presence, but that's 6 weeks away. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Denmark is going to refuse taxpayers assistance to businesses registered to offshore tax havens in order to avoid paying taxes.

Good for them.

Our government should be doing the same!

OK I just wondered why they asked you to SI from each other if you not going out to work, safest if you don’t have to go out to work is to both SI and then at least you can behave normally in the house together......unless of course? Laughing Regards

I have been for a walk up to North Head, Sydney, where an early quarantine station was located.

View from number 3 cemetery.

A few notes.
