Just had the same problem, the driver's door lock actuator needs changing and is being changed under warrantee next week.

Also you can change the door lock settings to all four doors at once.

I tried changing to all four doors together and it made no difference on mine. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Yes it’s good practice to squirt some kind of lube in the lock and operate it a few times now and again. |

Yes the lock cover is quite tricky to get off so that you can use the emergency key but not a problem 'cos the instructions on how to do it will be in the manual which is in the glovebox locked in the car.........Oh 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
