Rear diff drive flange holding spanner

Hi folks. Just a quick query, if anyone has bought or has made a spanner to prevent rear diff from rotating while removing drive flange centre nut. If so could you please advise me of dimensions / spacing of holes so that I can fabricate one of my own?

Image below from ebay item, dont fancy paying £49 for one!

Thanks for any assistance Thumbs Up Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

So the red flat bar is about 11" long (size not critical - it was in the garage) and the C shaped piece was cut from a square of 2mm alloy plate 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", I just marked the radius using a paint tin as a pattern to draw round. Holes are 8mm. I didnt measure the notch in the red bar, just ground a bit of it away so the hole would line up with a bolt without fouling on the flange first,

I made this thinking I would remove the flange while on the car after the propshaft was disconnected but reading other posts in detail it seems that it is easier to take the complete haldex out and the flange could then be held in a vice while the nut is removed. We shall see - I know what Im doing next weekend Wink Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
