All these surveys are just a vent for those who are unhappy with tlheir vehicles, you pay a lot for JLR cars and JLR don't exactly throw extras at their products for a reasonable price, a top of the range Focus is half the price of a DS HSE and has more goodies, in comes a survey and it says how many defects have you had in 3years? So you add up all the blown lamps and the carpet tha keeps ruffling up. Did it break down and leave you stranded probably no, but it is now unreliable. I had a Disco300 that went through fue liftl pumps every three years, only one was a LR supply, the original, the other two were other makes and failed but all to do with LR, but if I had reported them it would have been nail in the unreliability coffin.

I 100% agree the survey is useless My Freel2 has been the most reliable car I have ever owned I'm keeping my Freel2 it runs too well to sell. Take care Paul PS look out for the Ultra Low Emissions Zones or as Rush paraphrased it "The Motor Law" |

If Iâd ever taken JD Power seriously, I wouldnât have bought at least half of the cars that Iâve thoroughly enjoyed.

Come to think of it, there seems to be a correlation between the dullness of a manufacturer and how high they sit in the ranking. Perhaps, when the average Toyota driver drives to the post office, to collect their pension every Tuesday, they just canât build up enough enthusiasm to remember any problems, in just the same way that I canât remember very much about my electric toothbrush either. |

YouTube is a bit of a special case - creators buy something like that wanting it to go wrong, as otherwise theyâve got no content, no views and no money. Tyler Hoover is the perfect example - he buys old, unreliable cars and makes lots of money from the content they provide him with!
