It is easy if you have the amount of shares to play with, I don't but a run on Sterling some time ago was put down to one man dumping Sterling apparently at a loss only to buy some months later to start recovery, made over £100,000,000.
I am not saying the virus was started to cause a crash, just that it was a convenient to start a crash using the virus as a reason my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

As mentioned earlier, businesses will use it as a convenient excuse to mask poor management performance.

The collapse of FlyBe (who have been in trouble for well over a year) and the Directors blaming "coronavirus" is a case in point.

Expect many more "merchant bankers" to follow the same blame culture...

Not only those groups, any age of person with low immunodeficiency will be at serious risk, Mrs BB has been having big problems with her RA since last year, her bloods have been dangerously low at times due to other drug reactions, it is cause for some concern but not PANIC. Regards

Yes they had been in and out of hospital with an existing pre-condition over the last few weeks......still a statistic I think you’ll agree? Regards

Of course the business was struggling, it made no secret of that, but an overnight collapse in their order book finally pushed them over the edge.

With 2,000 people now out of work, a lot of businesses facing bad debt and a useful and unique service now lost, I don’t think it’s helpful to make sweeping generalisations like this for political point scoring.
