Not much point in going down the hybrid route now since the government is banning them like the rest of ICE cars. Apparently many never use or even unwrap their charging cables. Toyota are doing TV ads on a self charging hybrid, now what is the logic in that?

I tried E10 on my previous car, it could use it. The additional price for 98 was no worse with the additional mileage & longer range. Less frequency filling up was another bonus. Also I had no fuel filter problems with 98. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

This E10 fuel business sounds like a re run of the 1980's leaded/unleaded petrol story and the damage to valve stems etc on older engines. I wonder if the JLR petrol Ingenium engines could cope? This could be a rerun of the Ingenium diesel oil dilution/worn balance shafts story. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Pretty much all new cars should take E10 without an issue, it has been available on the continent for years, it’s older vehicles which have the intolerance. Great, first a few years ago they take the advantage of red diesel off boating, and now farming.........how will we be able to afford to run the Azimut now? Hmmm Azimut or New Holland.....let me think..... Regards David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... It gets used all over, Her Majesty’s men are often out dipping in Norfolk, not seen any down here yet apart from at the Wadebridge Ag show a couple of years ago when they were stopping anything diesel and looking a bit “worky” on the way out of the car park at the end of the day, there were a fair few lined up having a few details taken down it seemed.

First I’ve seen that, maybe a bit harsh but it’s pointless just filling up with DERV to cut the grass as the dye in the tank would tint the duty paid DERV anyway, maybe he should have done that and shown the, a garage pump receipt, I wonder.
