Thanks very much, never heard of a reverse gear activating solenoid before! shall be poking around tomorrow & see if I can get it going. |

Fixed itself the next day! just started it ,set off and tried the gears and hey presto could not get stick any further right than 5 th gear, hope it lasts. |

I had a gearbox recall on my first FL2 in 2008. After the garage finished I no longer had a resistence into reverse. It turned out they had disconnected the solenoid to do the recall work and failed to reconnect it. Maybe it's a loose or poor connection. driving on the right side |
