Keep a cover on the socket dodgy when they are vertical, one small coin in there will pop the fuse or worse......wasn’t me it was my Son’s BMW...... Have you considered selling the Defender and pooling the money with the FL2 budget and buying a new 110 Defender? 94 Disco 300 TDI Gone

The 110 sale proceeds are the FL2 budget (hopefully with some change), sadly. New 110 pricing is waay out of my league, and I would not want to be LR's guinea pig on such a complicated vehicle.
