I was quite surprised as I've had a 2013 HSE model about 4 years ago and didn't have a single probably, so it made sense to get another one as the other half really wanted one again....I'm thinking it's either a good auto electrical, 4x4 specialist or even JLR |

It could be something simple like dirty contacts on a fuse or relay.

Are you sure that the car is locking properly, could it be a central locking problem?

Just my tuppeny'ha'penny's worth, but about 5 years ago, my MY13 handbrake light wouldn't go out on the dash after I had double locked the car. It would stay on permanently, all through the night, and whilst not a major current drain, enough for me to get it booked in and investigated under warranty.
