The Guys and Girls in the G4 club were a real friendly bunch, had several fun outings with them. Gill my better half is a very quiet and private person, so the meetings were always met with a great deal of anxiety, in the end it was much easier on her to bow out of the meetings - fun I sadly miss.

This review was one factor why I bought the Freelander. It has the brilliant Ford 2.0 litre ecoboost 177kW petrol engine. It is a bit thirsty in the city but I not commuting so it's not an issue. https://www.themotorreport.com.au/car-revi...79225.html Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I'll gladly add myself to the list of enthusiast owners who enjoy travelling with their FL2. I am by no means as kitted out as folks like Lightwater and not as mechanically savvy as some folks on this forum, but definitely a great fan of my 12 year old FL2 that I've lightly upgraded and that I routinely take off the beaten path in Canada. Here's one photo - many more to see at https://www.instagram.com/the_canadian_freelander/ for those interested! Cheers, Simon |

By coincidence, they’ve published my letter in this month’s magazine as well |

Maybe people missed it, but in Sept/Oct 2019 LRO did a Freelander special (pictured), which was a 100-page special edition sold separately from the mag.
