Many years ago we were at the New Year's Eve Concert in the Sydney Opera House. The intermission was timed for the Sydney fireworks.

It was brilliant, while fireworks ash rained down like Pompeii (been there & at Herculaneum, even better) on the glass over the Opera House Foreshore Foyer we drank champagne & stuffed our faces, thoroughly enjoying ourselves with relatives from Europe.

My only complaint was slightly sore neck from looking up!

How times have changed. Now I am planning a car fire defence sprinkler system & radiating heat barrier shields!

On a "slightly" smaller scale, every bonfire night my neighbour puts on a good firework display for his kids and we get a superb view thorough the windows in the valted roof of our kitchen/dinning room. Nice and cheap for us to view in comfort in the warm with the only cost being a good bottle of wine.

Haha same here, every “event” we get a great front row view of one of our neighbours (who has more money than the Sultan of Brunei) who owns the beach and gets a local display company to lay it on thick......great if you aren’t asleep Laughing Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
