The PROG button does turn on the front screen heater as well as the rear. But there already is a button for the front heater too. So as far as I can tell, the PROG button does exactly the same as pressing: front heater button; rear heater button; airflow-to-screen button; air volume knob to max. It may or may not automatically turn the air down after a while, I've never let it run long enough before dialling it back manually. - Dick |

hi guys the PTC works at lower temps tp warm up the air in the car sooner, its basically a heavy duty version of your heater matrix but instead of coolant flowing through it, its elecrically charged start yor car on a cold morning and you can see the guag still ta cold but warm air is been circulated. hope this helps. richh. they all do that! |

The Prog button is the optimum defrost programme and simply enables the best air selection, window heaters etc. as required to do the job. Same as selecting these options manually. FL2 TD4 XS manual, XS style pack, Martinique Blue |
