Hi. If you have had a bulb failure and the glass has shattered check there is no fragments in the shutter mechanism

Im not familiar with that name but I presume they are the ones which use a single filament HB3 for both main and dipped using a shutter? As both shutters have failed it must be something common to both units. First I would check the wiring diagrams to see how the shutters are activated and then work back from the light housing connections. Could it be the switch on the steering column that is faulty? As I have only just bought the car its back at the dealers who are sorting it. Be interesting to know the cause, I'll post the solution when i know. |

Headlights were dismantled to find that the lenses were pointing to the left!!! so that has been corrected and all is OK. any advice on better HB3 bulbs |

Unfortunately the move to a single HB3 was not a great idea. The bulbs get too hot and burn out quicker than normal. I usually have to replace both my bulbs during the course of about 18 months.
