FL1 or FL2 wanted

In the market for a cheap FL1 or FL2, I've been a member on here for years (not sure why the post count is reset to zero though?)

Anyone selling pls? Main thing for me is a car that is fully functioning and needs no mechanical work to be sound for the winter.

Budget £1-2k

I'd say youd realistically need to get a well looked after freelander 1 for that money, a freelander 2 at that price is going to have a lot of issues and perhaps be a money pit? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I would say that is wishful thinking. I've had seven Landrovers over 36 years and I love 'em. But every one of 'em needed something doing at my first service. Often minimal but sometimes major. You have to be prepared and have a grand on standbye. To expect trouble free motoring for the winter at a cost of £1,500 is optimistic but I wish you luck.

I've got a FL2 and the misses an FL1.

Important to remember that the FL1 has a high seat and no seat height adjustment (Which is why most you see are driven by women). So make sure you will fit first !

The FL1s with the TD4 are great reliable cars as long as they are looked after.

Good luck. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green
