I'd say youd realistically need to get a well looked after freelander 1 for that money, a freelander 2 at that price is going to have a lot of issues and perhaps be a money pit? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I would say that is wishful thinking. I've had seven Landrovers over 36 years and I love 'em. But every one of 'em needed something doing at my first service. Often minimal but sometimes major. You have to be prepared and have a grand on standbye. To expect trouble free motoring for the winter at a cost of £1,500 is optimistic but I wish you luck. |
