If you have a roof rack put a few planks or ply on the roof lie on it hanging over the side & get someone to hold your feet. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

If it's anything like mine was when it was "sleeping" I'd say not, it looked like the entire remote receiver system was shut down. Initially, I thought the remote battery was dead but checked it and found it OK, after that I searched the subject and found the info about the system going into hibernation. |

As I understand it, if the FL2 systems are working the correctly, everything has been shut down, some 28 days after last ignition event, except for the Perimeter Alarm (monitoring for Door Ajar only).

Hi, although not the same problem, I had an access problem due to a the blue wire non-charging issue a couple of years back, to gain access we very carefully managed to pry open top of door with wedges & pump-up pads then managed to pull the bonnet release lever, popped the bonnet using a long length of stiff wire hooked at the end,

I was just wondering why the emergency key hole is on the passenger side anyway? It's the same on my wife's Suzuki and on her previous Peugeot. Something to do with it not being on the the driver's door perhaps? Anyone out there with a LHD car for comparison? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

On my LHD FL2 the emergency lock is on the driver's door. I think it's just the car manufacturers saving money, use the same parts on LHD and RHD cars. |

Apparently at the moment more people in the world drive on the RHS of the road but more countries drive on the LHS (a hangover from the British Empire) however these countries are developing and have fewer drivers. It is expected that as these countries develop then eventually more will drive on the LHS. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
