Is there any sign of life at all when you press the various buttons on the key fob? I guess you have tried just opening the tailgate or holding the open button down for a few seconds which should open all windows?

PS when I had a similar problem and couldn't get into my garage when the power failed. The side door opened inwards but car was in the way. Problem was solved by the little girl next door who squeezed in. Do you have any small children to hand or that you could borrow? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

If you have a roof rack put a few planks or ply on the roof lie on it hanging over the side & get someone to hold your feet. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

If it's anything like mine was when it was "sleeping" I'd say not, it looked like the entire remote receiver system was shut down. Initially, I thought the remote battery was dead but checked it and found it OK, after that I searched the subject and found the info about the system going into hibernation.

As I understand it, if the FL2 systems are working the correctly, everything has been shut down, some 28 days after last ignition event, except for the Perimeter Alarm (monitoring for Door Ajar only).

Leaves only wheel dollies, or very thin well trained child. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

I've got a grand daughter but as she is only 11 weeks old I don't think she can help Sad
Everything is locked, tried both fobs and all the buttons but on good, found some hard plastic sheets so will try and put them under the wheels. Common sense isn't very common.

Hi, although not the same problem, I had an access problem due to a the blue wire non-charging issue a couple of years back, to gain access we very carefully managed to pry open top of door with wedges & pump-up pads then managed to pull the bonnet release lever, popped the bonnet using a long length of stiff wire hooked at the end,

Gap between car and van.

Getting ready for my mate to come round with his disco to try towing the car sideways, I put two mud/snow ramp things covered in washing up liquid under the rear wheels, did the offside first, when I'd done the nearside I noticed that the car had slid across slightly, so jacked them up again and it moved a bit more, I just squeezed in between the car and van and pushed/bumped until it had moved enough to get to the door handle, I came now confirm that when you open the door it does NOT unlock the other's just sets the alarm off. surprisingly the electric seats worked so I could lower the passenger seat down and reach the rear door lock Very Happy not enough room for me but i pushed the wife in Laughing and she opened the rest, after five weeks it didn't want to start but did on the second try so everything is now good.
Parked it the other way round and climbed out so wont happen again.
Thanks all for your help and suggestions. Thumbs Up Common sense isn't very common.

I was just wondering why the emergency key hole is on the passenger side anyway? It's the same on my wife's Suzuki and on her previous Peugeot. Something to do with it not being on the the driver's door perhaps? Anyone out there with a LHD car for comparison? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

On my LHD FL2 the emergency lock is on the driver's door. I think it's just the car manufacturers saving money, use the same parts on LHD and RHD cars.

^ Just that ^

The majority of cars built for a global market will be LHD, makes sense to standardise wherever possible.

Apparently at the moment more people in the world drive on the RHS of the road but more countries drive on the LHS (a hangover from the British Empire) however these countries are developing and have fewer drivers. It is expected that as these countries develop then eventually more will drive on the LHS. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
