Hands free voice is too quiet

Hello.

The hands free built-in is too quiet IMO. Turned up to max of 30 on the system, voices are a touch too quiet. I can hear but on motorways I’d like it a few stops louder. How can I do this?

I tend to listen to radio and such at around the 16-18 mark and don't need to adjust it for the phone. Max on mine goes up to around the 40 mark I believe

Can’t you adjust whilst on a call using the steering wheel volume controls.

Is it still too low if you adjust the volume on your vehicles info screen higher then use the steering wheel volume controls whilst on a call? Maybe your phone is at fault. Try pairing a different phone perhaps.

Not sure of your vehicle age n spec but look for AVC (ADAPTIVE VOLUME CONTROL) in the settings.

Try turning the volume up on the phone itself during the call, I had the same problem with my iPhone and during a call used the volume buttons to increase the volume, it works perfectly now.

We have discussed this before, I seem to remember that there are methods of controlling and monitoring the 'Bluetooth' mic phone levels, unfortunately I can't find it at the moment. .
