Oh dear. Its not only illegal to drive the car in that state but also very unsafe and a hazard to other road users. In the eyes of the law ignorance is no defence and clearly you are aware of it. I suggest you get it mended asap. Jules

I spent a long time on a late Vauxhall replacing bulb in head light,only to find the same problem, start car switch off,works now!
