2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

This is what the dealer told me yesterday (except for prices) when I queried if the car I picked up today would be TD4-e. For me it would have been £1200 more for getting Alpine ICE and Bluetooth, and of course Stop/Start.

so the gs is now the old xs , xs is now the old se

basically the new gs is now my xs minus the part leather electric seats and a few other bits n bobs.
why does the new xs need sat nav?

personally I'd get a gs with leather pack At work

I agree CG. The new GS in well enough equipped and is a lot cheaper than the new XS (old SE). The Sat Nav is good, but not essential. Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

So you have to suffer all that bling on the HSE to get a sunroof! The rest of this post has been deleted so that Mr Pinks does not have to ban me still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

HST wont be based on anything as it has been rightfully deleted too, mainly because its as ugly as blue/alpacha seats Laughing At work

Evil or Very Mad nothing wrong with my seats

I quite like the HST, apart from the fact it removes the off-roadability of the car. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Wales 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Martinique Blue

Well we'll be picking our new XS (2009) up the end of the week. Cost just over £22000 OTR and that was with the XS style pack.

Feature wise I guess it's somewhere between the new GS and XS but considerably cheaper... Smile FL2 TD4 XS manual, XS style pack, Martinique Blue
