What was your last car?

Its come up in a few threads - what car you had before you had your Freelander 2?, its impossible to do a poll as there are too many cars to list but how about if we all do a one liner on this thread stating what your last car was.

For me-

BMW 3 Series Coupe Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
Gone - 2014 BMW X3 M Sport Space Grey, faultless!
Gone - 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Bali Blue with xenons
Gone - 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Rimini Red with bodykit

Audi A3 sportback.. (black no towbar Whistle). Fully loaded with leather, xenon, s-line goodies.
Some fool bought it for his wife as a surprise gift, she didn't want it Shocked , So we bought it with 120 miles on the clock for a £3000 discount Laughing .
Apparently he had to buy her a TT to keep her happy, I think he must have been a naughty boy. The car had to go to the paint shop before we took delivery to remove the scratch from where she belted it with her handbag Shocked At work

BMW X3.

And to be honest, i kinda miss her. She was a full option beauty and felt a bit more sporty than the FL2.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Tambora Flame

Jeep Cherokee 2.5crd Limited. Nice for a truck but not the luxury or refinement of the LR2.
Prior to that Audi A3 T sport. We had 2. The 1st (99) was lovely. The second, they hardened up in Audi sport style It looked great but was pretty unpleasant to drive so we had it 8 months and jobbed it in against the Jeep. 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good!

Last car Jaguar X Type Estate - due to environmental guilt (after 4 LR's). Crying or Very sad

Dealer/Manufacturer quoted 47 mpg - got 37 Mpg. Lethal in Wet.

Hated it so got rid after a year and bought FL2 - not quite as green but nearly and almost 37 Mpg quoted. Thumbs Up

Why lethat in wet as it's a front wheel drive and should be in order ?
Glad that the mpg is similar with the FL2 as I diid tackle with buying a X type a couple of month before I got this beauty Embarassed FREELANDER 2 TD4 SE (XS UK) IZMIR BLUE SIDE STEPS COLD PACK BI-XENON TINTED WINDOWS - AND PROUD OF HER

Poor traction control, too much power to front wheels, aquaplaning, etc.

AWD system was only available on petrol version but I wanted good Mpg - I think the car was compromised by this. It also had terrible suspension, ventilation, seats, etc...

Too be fair I had an Mg Tf (rear wheel drive) and I did not go out in the wet twice - it was far worst/terrifying. Shocked

I will not buy anything without 4WD/AWD in future. Thumbs Up

My Audi had 140 diesel bhp's and only front wheel drive, but I always considered it good in the wet, but I did always insist on directional tyres, they seem so much better at shifting water. At work
