LED side repeaters

How are the 100 ohm resistors installed with the LED side repeaters from Powerful Uk please?

You should not need resistors when fitting just an led side repeater as the other 2 bulbs in the circuit provide enough resistance for the flasher unit to work as normal. To check this remove and unplug your old unit then try the indicators which should work as normal. You do need resistors if upgrading the puddle light bulbs to led as the led bulb will not work correctly without a resistor but Powerful have a u tube video on their website that shows what is involved and how to fit it. Thumbs Up

Thank you very much for your interest in my problem, guys. It does seem a bit of a "mish mash" so will leave well alone! I must say that having informed Powerful of the problem they replied straight away and sent the resistors by 1st class mail. Brilliant customer service I reckon. Also found how to install resistors on the video for replacing puddle lamps. Very helpful all round.

Tried LED bulbs but did not have any issue. Currently have cheap Chinese dynamic ones, also no issues.

it seems that with all the probs LED bulbs create in these cars, its not worth even considering them .What with the cost its not like domestic installation where running cost is a saving .

Haven’t tried LED bulbs in any exterior lights but the LEDs in the interior are an excellent upgrade. Much brighter and crisper.

The ones I have were not that cheap, approx £15. They look very similar to the ones powerfuluk is selling (for more than double the amount I paid), the plug is the same and even the text on the glass is the same.
