Do you loose the differential oil when you take the entire haldex out to service it? |

Well I bought all the parts (Volvo filter kit, case O-ring, shaft O-ring&nut) and intended to remove, disassemble and clean it today...

Hi guys it would be really helpful for everyone if next time someone fills their haldex correctly they could check the oil level with a alan key. This would helpful for refilling and also handy for just checking the level. regards Steve

Yep. The same as new engine oil shows up on a dipstick.

sorry Steve D Allen key, I find black ones are best. Save getting oil ready just to find oil is level with bung ( conventional level bung ) regards Steve J |
