Hi all, quick update as I’ve not been on for a while. Just clocked over 281k and due for MOT Friday! Been running really well, changed rear shocks as they both gave up within a week of each other and other than routine servicing, adjusting handbrake etc all is good. I expect it to fly through the MOT!!

We’re not in tier 3 yet but it’s nailed on. Loads of people around us have been infected sadly |

Must have had a cambelt before we got it and I can only guess that the first owner was mechanically sympathetic! Haldex has been fine tbh, oil and filter change using Volvo bits and that’s it. This car has been far more reliable than our 2017 RR which I got rid of because it was so unreliable. Who’d have thought it! Last edited by jonnyfunf on 22nd Oct 2020 5:45 pm. The wife's Fl2 is now on 154k and in semi retirement , I used to use it for my short commute and she would use mine as she prefers the auto , I've been left a Ford Bmax by a family member so I'm using that most of the time now . The older Fl2 isn't worth much so it'll stay with us for the time being or until we change both Fl2's for an early Disco sport .

I had a chat with someone in South Australia, his D3 was at 1,150,000 km, at 1.2m km he is going to replace the transmission a second time. Previously replaced at 600k.

That's brilliant! Such good planning! "We're in danger, we've got to get out." "What are you talking about?" "I've been called a ponce." |

Hi all, it’s a while since I’ve been on but thought I’d mention that our 2007 SE has just clocked 295k today. Not entirely sure how it’s still going but it is Mechanically still pretty sound, just keep servicing it! |
