Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know we’ve rolled onto 275k today. Following my previous posts about a few maintenance jobs I did early on, all I’ve done is service it and it’s been rock solid. Still drives absolutely superb too, pulls like a train!

Has anybody got an FL2 with similar or more miles?

I was impressed with the description and pictures you posted when you first bought it a couple of years ago.
It still looks nice and gives us all hope of many years of ownership, although I must admit to changing my FL2 as I approached 100k miles, although it was still going strong.
In fact I was so pleased with it I bought another younger FL2. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 79k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Not that kind of mileage, however my local Independant lent me as a courtesy car a 2008 TD4 GS at my last service with 189k on it, and it too pulled like a train! In fact, I actually thought that it was quicker and punchier than my SD4!

So there is hope for us all....... MY13 HSE Lux.......faultless since new.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'd really like to get it to 300k, its one of those cars that are now part of the family. Just wonder what we'll do with it if/when its at the end of its journey- could bury it in back garden

Congrats! Has the cambelt ever been changed, and if so, at what mileage? Thanx in anticipation.

I wonder if electric power would have lasted that long?

While in Applecross recently, I never spotted many electric charging points

You'll find there's a jobsworth at the council will find about the burial, make you dig it up, fill in paperwork, pay a fee . . . . then say you're not allowed to
