We could start a fund to buy Land Rover - I guess they`ll take less than the 1.7 Billion Pounds they paid - I`ll put a tenner in! Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

If any of the recent car company sales are anything to go by, we could soon be driving around in Landroverski's Exclamation

Don't worry, I see Jon Moulton's Alchemy Group is in the bidding, so Land Rover can look forward to the safe and secure future that Alchemy provided for MG Rover....

Hope it will be the VAG group, VW have the tiguan and Audi have the Q7 now and future Q3 & Q5 so may fit with their plans. More likely PSA group as Ford and PSA currently share engines so there would be less on cost to maintain the current engine ranges.

My car is a MK5 golf GTi and they are a well built, reliable car with a fantastic power train, that just sounds and goes so well.

I can't understand Ford, I thought LR was the most profitable arm of the organisation with military vehicles, good new products etc, I know Jaguar are suffering so can understand that but not LR?? I thought Volvo may have been first but assume that they are trying to model VAG with their VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat brands where components are shared across the range therefore making them more profitable.

I think, that the British government should buy Land Rover and Jaguar from company Ford.
Land Rover and Jaguar are national property of the Great Britain.
