I don’t know what would cause this after a belt change,have you tried disconnecting the battery and doing a hard reset ? |

No never do that....someone said start from scratch take the belt off...I'll give the battery a go cheers |

Mickey [the LR specialist in Dundee] also had an issue when he changed his timing belt.

If its cranking, its not an immobiliser issue.

As Mikey has suggested, maybe incorrect timing but as it cranks ok I would lean more to the crank sensor/wheel. I'd be checking the cps plug has also been reseated properly if you disconnected it. Let us know how you get on. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.
