Morning guys.
Trouble finding my subwoofer in my 2007 freelander. It has the Dolby surround system but when I turn the sub up on the menu there’s no sound difference. I’m wondering if the sub is even fitted?? Nothing in the spare wheel well which is where I thought they normally are?
Any pointers would be great 😁

Looking in the trunk/boot from the rear the sub is mounted at the top right of the spare wheel.......well it is on my 2007 HSE  Regards

all the subs are in the same place from MY2006 through to MY2015.

As Boxbrownie says, black box with holes in the type like a speaker grill in the spare wheel well, shaped around the back right corner.

What time the new wheels Rogb? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Its deffo not in there. Ill have to have a look on ebay for a surround and sub. They list Panasonic but I guess it needs to be alpine?

Got a photo UK it should be there. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

yeh prices have dropped significantly for the slightly higher mileage ones, low miles still attracts high prices though

routine servicing costs are comparable to Freelander but wear on particularly front suspension components and brakes is quite high due to the almost 3 tons getting loaded onto them under braking. Most of my mileage is open road so braking is done through just easing off the gas a bit and looking ahead.

Oh and im 6'2'' so i can just about reach the back of the boot

5'3" but don't bang my head often every cloud eh.



Seriously got me thinking just working on the other half now as I've just had the " why spend on Florrie then change her " speech  If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
