I think it retains the IAM as it uses the oem disc drive also.

Ideal for those with the 4.2” display panel but I’m happy with my 7” touchscreen.

Hmm, something about that picture that doesn't look quite right, as in photo shopped.

If it’s what I think it is, you remove the screen from the FCDIM and connect the ribbon cable of the new screen to it and attach to original mounts. It won’t work correctly with dual view (did FL2 have a DV option). I think it also does something to the sat NAV but can’t remember what. |

I know the one your thinking about but that’s a module which provided “Car Play” which replaces the Nav option on the screen.

Some of the graphics are a bit too much & the wrong car doesn't help. Engine info down there is pointless & it is for petrol as it goes up to 8000 rpm. My car only goes to 220 not 240 as in the photo. They also need to swap these left & right so it is the same as the dash display. The bottom right corner there is something blue coming out of the screen but the screen is suggesting that it is on as the blue visually overlaps the plastic trim to the right. The bottom & right edges of the display looks like a bit of printed paper as the black shadow edges of the stuck on paper is a bit irregular. The plastic trim on the right just above the CD slot is a touch uneven where it transitions from vertical to angled. Either a poor quality mould or Photoshopped. The on off graphic for the hi-fi button is pointing 45° to the right. On my car it is always vertical. Nav & hill descent buttons are in the wrong position. I'm just a bit suspicious about parting with hard earned funds.

In terms of it being real or not, I have found the AliExpress listing and I think it is real and not a Photoshop, I retouch for a living and what you're looking for with faked images is transitions in noise, difference in brightness values and poor clipping, the frame round the edge may not be 100% straight on the bottom right hand side, but the noise etc is spot on, for a product like this I'm certain they wouldn't spend a serious amount of time retouching it.

I did;
I find that you can't generally buy from Alibaba, well unless you want to buy a lot of units! AliExpress however you can buy in single units, but there is a notable variation in prices, as I've linked to. I use AliExpress all the time, its usually cheaper than eBay, for the same item, and then I'm not giving more money to eBay than I have to |
