Well, that disqualifies me from buying a new Defender 90 then..... ‘Young, Affluent, Fun Seeking, Individual' ... no doubt with pricing to suit? 😀 |

That DC100 looks like a Skoda Yeti If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

JLR are obviously trying to cater for a future population explosion with their 130 Jules |

The original Defenders were never cheap when you consider how crude they were. Jules |

Quite right , I bought a new County 90 in 1997 with a full chequer plate job and NAS spec rear step /tow bar . It was one of the the last TDi 300 models and was discounted as the TD5 was coming in . It was over £20,000 . We were paid out £13000 on the insurance when it was stolen 14 years later ! 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I would need to check my old brochures but I’m sure an entry level D3 with air suspension wasn’t much more expensive than a 90. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

No pickup version? I note that there are a lot of L200/Navara/Hiluxe pickups around now with chrome bars etc on the back which are obviously lifestyle vehicles. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I imagine that the Defender '130' version will spawn a double cab pickup, that necessary for many markets if you want volume sales.

The 90 might make a nice replacement for the FL2......yes I know the differences, doors, seats, size etc......but at least it’s a bit more “Land Rovery” than the present crop of pressed steel. Regards

Interesting but seems no manual transmission option then looking at the spec sheet - it is auto across the board! Andrew

1. The 90" actually has a 90" wheelbase It goes to pot a bit after that... 2. It'll be 1,999mm wide. So, no one will be green laning those at any age then |
