I would have thought if it’s above a certain temperature and the A/C is on then the fan will run regardless (unless of course there is air through put from higher speed driving) the condenser NEEDS the throughput to work properly.

Paul, I just tried mine and with the car slightly warm (drove 3 miles around 5 hours ago) and with the A/C switched off, the fan started spinning immediately but at a low speed. I switched the A/C back on and the fan started spinning at high speed after about 10 seconds. I'll try again tomorrow morning after the car has cooled overnight. I'm in Houston so the overnight is high 70s so it won't be "cold" cold. |

Just guessing here, but there is an option on the CCF (ENGINE_COOLING_FAN_PERFORMANCE), that may need to be reprogrammed...

I checked the car this morning when cold (sat overnight) and with the A/C off, the fan does run at a low speed when the car is first started. I let the car go from fast idle to normal idle and nothing changed. When I switched on the A/C I heard the compressor clutch engage immediately and then after about 15 seconds the fast went to a higher speed. Hope this helps. |

I'm going to try and get the VCX Nano working. I hate having to use a dealer or independent to make changes to the CCF. |
