Oddly I just answered about my trailer and bike rack on another thread, we had a trailer (years ago now) and I had a rack built that fitted to the trailer between the hitch A frame and the axle line, worked a treat.

Perhaps a bit expensive, but could you change the towbar to a flange type and get a hitch mounted rack?

Having the top part of the frame that close to the edge of the roof I'd be concerned about it over riding the roof causing the possibility of the top support straps bouncing out. It might be better mounted underneath the high level brake light.

This is pushing all the carpark height restrictions and some railway bridges too!

Have always adapted my bike rack and mounted my carrier like this. Had it on previous cars, D3, D4 and shown below, FL2. Always been solid as a rock, but then I was only carrying 1 bike. (My rack is for sale though, as I now have an e-mountain bike that requires a towbar mounted carrier)

You might want to consider something like this for future use. This rack is about 12 years old - newer ones allow better separation of multiple bikes.
