different diameter,so haldex might kick in.might be able to use on a 4x4 wher you physically engage 4x4 . |

but come to think of it, how does the skinny temp wheel when fitted not upset the haldex if on the front? |

That’s why I asked - I fitted the skinny temp wheel on the rear of my Evoque and drove it from the Peak District to my home in Essex with no problems or warning lights. It’s nothing to do with it being 'skinny', it’s the overall rolling circumference that counts and wouldn’t make a difference if you had 18”, 19” or 20” rims. Even if it was a different rolling circumference, that’s what the differential is for. It would be a bit pointless for LR to supply them as OE equipment otherwise. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
