The best people to speak with are Bell Engineering (bellengineering.co.uk) as they are the experts in all things transmission related for a Freelander and they recondition diffs and Haldex units as well. Not sure if they ship overseas but certainly worth speaking to them! |

The trouble with supplying your own parts for fitting is that if there is ever any problem, you’ll be bounced back and forth between supplier and fitter with each blaming the other. Even if the garage is not liable and it turns out to be a faulty part, you’ll still be liable for the labour element and will have to try to claim that back from the parts supplier. If someone diagnoses, supplies and fits the part and it goes wrong within the warranty period, it’s all their problem! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
