I had a similar issue with my L322 rear lamps, one of the bulbs kept failing but was fine when inspected, with the lamp hanging out and connected it was fine, traced it to a broken cable within the insulation, when the lamp was installed it put the loom at the correct angle for the wire break to not work. Regards

I had a stop/tail bulb blow, replace with a Lucas and had no joy, turns out the bulb was wired so that both filaments came on with the tail function which was confusing the CJB Freelander 2's version of a fusebox. Anyway long story short, I replaced the bulb after an auto electrician discovered it was faulty but still had the problem of no stop/tail! this was rectified by resetting the CJB, video on how to by powerful UK (not sure how to post link) on youtube it's actually how to reset after changing headlamp type.

Yep try a reset by taking the battery off for at least half an hour. I did it for a few mins and it didn't work, then had to do something for longer with it disconnected and it fixed it. I believe it was the fet (what the fl2 uses instead of fuses on the lighting circuits) that wouldn't reset. I made sure new bulb worked on a battery before hand and that it was the right way round (leds usually only work one way) then out the bulb in and reconnected the battery. Mine also showed a lowed than battery voltage at the plug which had me stumped for a while. Been fine since. |

All done, battery reset didn't do the trick but the CJB reset cured it.
