Can't find the KYB rear springs I want, LRO19982, have found these, what do you think?

They look good value (I'd go with Monroe) but I really don't see how one part number can replace two, that were clearly for specific uses. All the places I've looked also now only list these as a replacement for both original LR numbers.

If these springs are for models with glass roofs they’ll be too hard for tin roofed cars and vice versa. If I they’re somewhere between, then both tin and glassed roofed cars will have a compromised ride, either too soft or too firm! |

I wonder if this a case of every car coming out of the factory had to hit a certain ride height and a sliding tin roof tipped it outside limiting castor and camber settings that rather than it to do with the quality of ride. Just don’t go too cheap as cheap as cheap springs break. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Genuine ones on Ebay but not exactly cheap! eBay Item No. 132672869359. As a car gets older compromises have to be made as parts become harder to source. If you are replacing original springs then you will probably notice an improvement whatever springs you end up fitting! Good luck! |

Showing your age now KYB shocks are on there way from Italy, £115.00 per pair delivered. Common sense isn't very common. _______________________________ 2007 Land Rover Freelander2 I6 hse Auto Last edited by axle on 9th Mar 2019 12:36 pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I'm thinking Monroe as well, yes two into one makes no sense. Common sense isn't very common. _______________________________ 2007 Land Rover Freelander2 I6 hse Auto |
