That's in the UK look at the big picture Jeep sold 70,020 in the USA alone how many did LR sell? 7,385 in the USA and 30,934 worldwide down -11.6% year in year. |

Land Rover North America sales were 92,143 up 23% on 2017

It's all a volume of scale in 2018 FCA sold 4,838,246 8th largest motor manufacture worldwide TATA Motors sold 824,838 21st largest motor manufacture. You need about 5 million plus sales to get real benefits of scale.

That's the whole point you need volume of scale for R&D, platform sharing across brands and models etc; JLR need to have a joint venture with one on the big players. It's all about return on capital.
