I've done similar, although I moved all the ports inside the centre console because my kids kept knocking them with their feet and breaking whatever was plugged in. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

The OP's system is the same as I run......... apart from the sprinklings of sand.

Not sand, its fibres from the crappy foam/tape insulation |
