USB charger and Bluetooth audio

I decided to change the rear console charger for a USB type off eBay, save messing with adapters.
Simple enough buying unit off eBay and swapping with the cigarette type.
As the power is constant I took the supply from the front cigarette charger as I want it to only come on with engine as I am going to use a Bluetooth dongle for aux in

Once installed I bought a Bluetooth/aux in adapter so can play music wirelessly Thumbs Up

Nice, will be swapping both my ports soon for USB. This has given me the kick to get online and buy what i need.

Is the 1A port enough to run the BT? To be really picky I'd turn the USB's the other way and keep the 2.1A for device charging Very Happy

I've done similar, although I moved all the ports inside the centre console because my kids kept knocking them with their feet and breaking whatever was plugged in. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

The OP's system is the same as I run......... apart from the sprinklings of sand. Rolling Eyes

Got a twin port USB adapter taking the Bluetooth module, then the other port taking a coiled black cable running to the cup holders to charge my iPhone.
Works well for me. Thumbs Up FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.
