Richards chassis do make a Discovery chassis ( I have resisted the temptation to type DO In capitals) but the are not shown on their website but are sold Via Britpart, They are not cheap however! You could also try terraintechparts who have sell their own make at a much cheaper price! |

As I understand it Britpart sell Richards Chassis under a Britpart part number. Richards do not list a Discovery chassis on their website but as Mikey says you may be able to buy direct if you ask. If not looks Mikey could order you one up! |

I gave consideration to re-chassis'ing (is that a word?) my D2 and running it for a lot more years. It was only very slightly rusty in a few places and could have been repaired to pass several more years MOTs as it was but at 165000 miles a lot of other parts were getting tired and Id had to replace the flywheel and clutch then the cylinder head, then had another head gasket fail soon after. I just felt that it was becoming expensively unreliable and it was time for a change to much younger fresher car, hence a 10 year newer Freelander
